Charlie Sheen’s rep has spoken up about Bree Olson’s claims that she wasn’t informed of Sheen’s HIV diagnosis while Olson was in a relationship with the actor.

In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Sheen’s manager Mark Burg denied Olson’s claims and explained that she was not informed since Sheen was still HIV-free at the time. "Bree Olson is all over Howard Stern but the truth is she wasn't in Charlie's life when he was HIV-positive…,” he said. “So there was no reason to tell her anything."

Burg made the clarification after Olson’s Tuesday appearance at "The Howard Stern Show" on SiriusXM where she told Stern that Sheen was not honest with her about his HIV diagnosis during their relationship, New York Daily News reports. Olson shared that Sheen “never said anything” about his condition.

“I was his girlfriend. I lived with him…,” Olson said. “I have never torn him apart (in interviews), but I am so upset and I couldn’t be more angry... I’ve been crying to think that someone could do that to me. I loved him.”

However, Burg told People magazine that Sheen’s HIV diagnosis came long after the former “Two and A Half Men” star’s relationship with Olson ended. Burg also stated that Sheen was “100 percent HIV negative” then and that the actor even underwent several HIV tests around that time.

Olson’s Howard Stern interview came after news of Sheen being HIV positive surfaced. In an exclusive interview with "Today," Sheen shared that he decided to reveal his diagnosis to end extortion efforts and “a barrage of attacks and of sub-truths” about him. The actor mentioned that he spent more than $10 million on people whom he thought he could trust, in an effort to keep his HIV diagnosis a secret.

"I trusted them and they were deep in my inner circle,” he said. “I thought they could be helpful. My trust turned to their treason."

Sheen further explained that putting a stop to the blackmails and extortion was not his only reason for going public with his condition. “That's not my only goal. I think I release myself from this prison today.”
