Now that members of Firehouse 51 are back together and it is final that Severide (Taylor Kinney) is not going anywhere, the team will be in for one big challenge in this upcoming episode. Titled “Deathtrap,” it will start off an epic three-part crossover event and will introduce the newest addition to the Chicago lineup.

Viewers saw a warm moment when Boden (Eamon Walker) was just sitting at his office and one of the men he had earlier rescued knocks on his door. Boden learns that this man is the Deputy Mayor to whom the conference “The Better Chicago Project” was dedicated and that the fire fighters had saved 15 government leaders from different parts of Chicago. He commends Boden and his team but said that he would like something more than just a medal.
Doubts were settled when the episode ended with Severide getting back and looking so happy. He returns to his office, calls Anna (Charlotte Sullivan) and tells her that he finally had the clarity he needed. He has decided that Chicago is his him and although he wants them to be together, he has to stay there.
The official synopsis provides that the whole team will get called in to aid a massive all-city response. This happens when an old, ill-equipped factory that had been turned into a working space blows up into a firestorm that traps numerous unsuspecting victims. This situation quickly turns personal when it gets discovered that one of Chicago PD’s members has a family member at the scene.
Some victims will be in dire need of serious medical attention and this will test the doctors and nurses of Chicago Med. In the meantime, when the chaos ends, the building owner will step forward to work hand-in-hand with the investigation. Of course, something unexpected will happen.
The official YouTube promo shows just how tense this situation will be and how the whole of Chicago will come together to deal with a massive fire. This upcoming episode brings together “Chicago Fire,” with “Chicago PD,” “Chicago Justice” and even “Chicago Med.” The network is using the hashtag #OneChicago for the promo.
