As Chile completes rescue of all thirty-three miners from the ground, a drama comes to an end on the sideline as Yonni Barrios surfaces: he kisses her mistress Susana Valenzuela.

The kiss gives a melodramatic conclusion to the well-chronicled rift between Barrios' official wife Marta Salinas and mistress Susana.

But even as the rift comes to an end, those who followed the resuce and the lives of the trapped miners wonders if Marta Salinas will still stick with her husband Yonni Barrios in spite of his now publicly known infidelity.

Prior to her husband's rescue, Salinas told New York Post: "He is my husband. He loves me and I am his devoted wife."

However, Salinas had refused to attend her husband's rescue, as this becomes imminent. She later told ABC News that:"[Barrios] asked me to come, but it turns out he also invited the other woman and I have decency." "This is very clear: It's her or me. "

Followers of the event could not help but wonder if Salinas was there, would Barrios choose her. But the opportunity to find out has come to pass, with Barrios kissing his mistress Valenzuela. But all may not be lost, Salinas had said:"I'm happy because he was saved. It's a miracle from God."

It seems that having a mistress is a tolerated practice among the miners. Reports say that at least five wives were dealing with mistresses at the rescue site. One miner is reported to have four women fighting over him.

While Salinas may have lost this fight (just be clear, out of decency) this round with Valenzuela, the mistress may not be too lucky when it comes to Barrios' compensation. The women of the miners has an on-going feud over the compensation on the miners' compensation. The drama is far from over, after all.
