China Southern Airlines Introduces A330-200 Aircraft to Fly Australia Destinations
Frequent travelers of China Southern Airlines bound for Australian destinations Perth and Brisbane may now experience the comforts of its new A330-200 aircraft.
China Southern Airlines enabled its new aircraft to touch down in Brisbane for the first time on Tuesday, while Perth received its first China Southern A332 aircraft on Wednesday morning.
The introduction of the latest Airbus' planes onto its Australian routes forms part of an ongoing program to upgrade product and service, according to China Southern Airlines. The aircraft carrier specifically wants to provide its Australian travelers with flatbed comfort primarily in the Business Class as well as personal IFE screens throughout the cabin.
As introductory price, China Southern Airlines travelers can fly return from Brisbane to Guangzhou, the airline's modern hub in southern China, for only $893 in Economy and $3253 in Business. Rates from Perth cost $760 in Economy and $3230 in Business.
China Southern Airlines said the introductory fares are already now on sale for travel throughout 2013. It already include taxes.
China Southern Airlines operate 41 weekly flight to five Australian cities. It also provides connections to some 200 destinations in 35 countries and regions through its Guangzhou hub. It has a fleet of more than 500 planes.
