Chinese-Muslims Infiltrate Into India Inspired by Bollywood Biggies Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan
As Investigations of the three Chinese nationals nabbed in India on June 12th after they infiltrated through the Sino-India border proceed, initial reports indicate the trio - Salamo, Abdul Khaliq and Adil Thorsong - are to be believed is the grandiosity of Bollywood that prompted them to do so.
Apparently the movies of both Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan were hits in the area they live in - Kargalilik of Xianjang province - and what they saw in the movies, the riches and luxury, inspired them to come to India and prosper.
All three are being interrogated separately and while their answer aren't much in tandem with each other, the only thing that they are studiously sticking to is that they live in abject poverty and appalling conditions - seeing Bollywood movies made them think of India as a rich, thriving nation where everyone can achieve their dreams.
Speaking in two languages of Yarkandi and Uyghur, all three gave different descriptions of where they lived and which route they took to infiltrate into India.
They were carrying political maps of the region, various swords and knives, 900 Yuan, tinned food and Chinese leather jackets, allegedly discarded by the troops and picked up by them en route.
Authorities have them holed up in northern Ladakh and the interrogation will continue at the Murgo Post with the help of translators. They were apprehended near Sultanchku - it is not clear where they breached the actual line of control (LAC) since the nearest habitation is in remote area, north of the Karakoram mountain range.
