Chris Brown is absolutely devastated about his prolonged jail time. He reportedly broke down to tears while speaking to Karrueche Tran before his Washington D.C assault trial was about to start on April 23. The singer got emotional with Tran and shared his apprehension about being behind the bars for longer than he thought.

"Kae couldn't believe it because he's rarely ever emotional with her," a source connected to the couple EXCLUSIVELY reveals to Hollywoodlife, adding, "He told her he's tired and that he couldn't sleep and how he doesn't know if he'll be able to fall asleep because he's nervous."

Brown has always maintained his tough side and as per the source he rarely breaks down and shows his softer side to Tran.

"He told her to keep her fingers crossed for him and keep good thoughts because he doesn't know what's going to happen," the source added.

Fans are also worried about Brown as now his trail date has been pushed further from April 23 to June 25. It is normal for Brown to get nervous as does not know what future holds for him.

Brown is facing charges of hitting a man while he was touring in Washington D.C. in 2013. However, Brown has claimed that he did not hit anybody and is innocent. The singer belives that the accusations are false and his body guard Christopher Hollosy will testify his innocence.

According to a source the victim is accusing Brown as he is after the singer's money. Apparently, bodygaurd Hollosy hit the man and not Brown.

"His bodyguard already told police he's guilty of hitting this dude so why is Chris still in jail? He didn't have anything to do with this from the jump and he feels this guy is going after him for money and fame and just because he's Chris Brown," the source revealed to the website.
