Chris Brown is said to be working on his personal growth and managing his behavioral issues in the two months since he was freed from jail. Apparently, going to the therapist regularly was his saving grace. The singer shared that therapy has been difficult but definitely helpful.

In an interview with Extra, Chris detailed how serious he is about being treated. He is currently taking a twice-a-week court ordered psychological therapy and even though he was adamant against it, he eventually warmed up to the procedures. He is now taking his sessions with his therapist seriously.

"I see my therapist twice a week, it's amazing and I was at first adamant about it, like, 'I don't want to go to therapy, I'm not going to talk to anybody,' but as I went through it and kept talking, it's actually very therapeutic."

He also shared that he found these sessions enlightening. He added, "For me it was more of an opportunity for me to understand my feelings and understand what I was dealing with in my own life... at a time I didn't know how to put those feelings out there, I didn't know how to say it, I didn't know how to express myself without it being anger or aggression because I felt a certain way, but now it's more of me being able to control it and understand it."

His therapist was all praises for his determination to deal with his issues and commitment to his sessions. CNN reported that the psychiatric thinks Chris is already making significant improvements in maintain his sobriety. The young singer who rose to fame when he was just 19 is said to be now developing skills that can promote his personal growth.

The therapist also said that Chris is showing great perseverance into becoming an emotionally healthy person again. He was once known for his singing and dancing prowess, and it seems he is determined to become that person again. He is currently busy promoting his new album, too, so he needs to be fully recovered as soon as possible. His therapist claims that Chris is diligently implementing all the recommendations made by his treatment team. This is a good sign that he'll be on the right path soon enough. He even has fond things to say about Rihanna now, and very open to making music with her, as reported by Access Hollywood.
