Chris Brown is a changed man. After his three-month stint in a Los Angeles jail earlier this year, he had no choice but to feel changed by the experience. Chris is very grateful of what he learned inside the jail though.

In his interview with "Extra's" Mario Lopez, Chris candidly shared his incarceration experience. Before talking about his new album, "X," the singer shared that being jailed is not something he could ever forget. He also said the experience affects him as an artist. Now, he has every desire of moving forward from that harrowing experience and showing what he can do as an artist, apart from his personal life.

"It was definitely one of the things I'll never forget.... I think for me it's now about what's the purpose and what's the goal that Chris Brown as a person and Chris Brown as an artist is trying to portray."

He said he learned fame and money certainly did not make him better and above anyone else. Prison made him realise that no one is exempted from being punished no matter how many fans they have. Certainly, prison made him a more humble individual. He said the experience also made him more mature now.

Mario asked what Chris learned about himself. "For me I just learned that nobody's invincible, everybody's equal, at the same time no amount of celebrity status, no amount of how many fans love you, no amount of anything can deter you away from the real if you make a mistake and nobody's excusable.... I think for me it was a humbling experience for me to become a man and mature."

Now he's out of prison and focusing his energy on promoting his new album, Chris said he is working hard to control his anger issues. He is doing therapy, and he found this very helpful for his emotional health.

Chris is still working on himself and his anger, saying he really believes in therapy. This is probably why he is now so level-headed when it comes to questions about Rihanna, one of the people behind his incarceration.

In his interview with Access Hollywood, Brown shared their friendship has lasted for 10 years and that still counts for something. They're friends until today, and he would not mind making music with her if chance allows.
