Chris Brown vs. Frank Ocean Brawl: Brown Keeps Mum, Ocean Wants to Press Charges [PHOTOS]
Rapper Chris Brown may have jeopardized his probation after his involvement on another brawl, this time with Frank Ocean. The promising R&B music artist wants to press charges against Chris Brown, who decided to keep mum about the fight over a car parking space at a Los Angeles recording studio.
"No charges have yet been filed but Ocean is desirous of prosecution in this incident," Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore stated. The County Sheriff's deputies confirmed they responded on Sunday night to a reported fight which involved six men in West Hollywood.
Chris Brown is currently under investigation after witnesses claimed that he punched Frank Ocean during the brawl. Their bitter history in the social networking site Twitter, where they traded harsh words with each other, may have contributed in the fight as well.
Chris Brown did not bother to recount the brawl on Twitter but Frank Ocean posted messages about the incident on his Twitter account @frank_ocean. "Got jumped by Chris and a couple guys. Lol. I only wish Everest was here," Ocean wrote.
Afterwards, the 25-year-old "Thinkin Bout You" singer further posted this message: "Cut my finger now I can't play w/two hands at the Grammys."
On the other hand, Chris Brown only posted an Instagram photograph that shows his studio session with the caption: "Working on my album. Not working on negativity. Focus on feeding ya family. Bull---- will forever be in the shadows."
If the charges against Chris Brown are filed, his five-year probation after the physical attack on singer Rihanna back in 2009 may be cancelled. Luckily for Brown, no charges were filed against him during a brawl with Canadian rapper Drake on June 2012 in a New York night club.
In the mean time, both Chris Brown and Frank Ocean are nominated in the "Best Urban Contemporary Album" category at the upcoming 2013 Grammy Awards. The winner will be announced on February 10 in Los Angeles.
