Chris Brown Will Soon Complete His Probation In Rihanna's Assault Case
Chris Brown is set to complete his probation period in Rihanna's assault case. The "Loyal" hitmaker has spent the last six weeks doing community service so that he can complete his 1,000 hours before his next court hearing in January, according to reports. The singer is said to be doing physical labour for six hours, for almost five days in a week.
According to TMZ, Brown is working at a facility approved by the Probation Dept. He is cleaning, removing trash, painting and moving furniture as part of his probation work. "He is on track to tell the judge during the next court appearance...mission accomplished," a source said to TMZ. Brown has pleaded guilty after he assaulted Rihanna in 2009. He is said to have physically assaulted the singer on the eve of Grammy awards. Last Friday, Brown spent more than 6 hours doing community service and he later went to Jacksonville for a performance at Memorial Arena. He would end his probation period on Jan. 23 if he maintains good behaviour, according to Daily Mail.
Brown reportedly repents assaulting Rihanna. He said in one of his previous interviews that it was a mistake. "Obviously I have remorse about it and it's something that's really serious, but as far as the situation-like me and her, we made amends, we good. She's my friend," he said to Hot 97's Ebro in "The Morning Radio Show", as quoted by Eonline. Brown started dating Rihanna in 2006. They triggered romantic relationship rumours after they were spotted going on vacations, together. Brown confessed that he was dating RiRi in May 2008. However, their relationship ended after Brown assaulted Rihanna. Brown later dated Karrueche Tran.
After her break-up with Brown, Rihanna was rumoured to be dating Drake. The singer reportedly dated the rapper earlier this year. However, it was reported that they pulled a plug on their alleged romance due to busy schedules. RiRi is currently busy with the promotion of her new album "R8." Last month, she also posted a clip of her new song on Instagram, with the caption that reads, "phuckin roun in da studio."
