After 19 heart-stopping stages through the hardest biking terrains in France, Christopher Froome is in now in the verge of winning the 100th edition of the Tour de France. The Team Sky leader has been very much motivated throughout the races as he looks to make two years in row for Great Britain after Team Sky teammate Bradley Wiggins won 2012's Tour in an emphatic fashion.

Froome might be kilometres away from being named the 2013 Tour de France champion, but the road that lies ahead is still filled with traps. One wrong turn and everything changes in blink of an eye.

Fortunately for him, he always has the support of his fiancée Michelle Cound, who's quite a head turner for the last three weeks in France.

Amid the doping allegations that haunted the Briton throughout the tour, Froome's lady has always been there to support him and ready to defend him against his worst critics.

"I just hope that the demons of the past don't affect the sport negatively going into the future. "Things have changed dramatically. I think any rider that dopes nowadays would have to be quite stupid to do so," Cound told Road.cc

"I know how often Chris gets tested. During the Vuelta his blood and urine were tested for five consecutive days. I can't think of any other sport where the athletes are tested as thoroughly," she added.

Froome is headed to final test of this year's Tour with a series climbs ahead of the stage from Annecy - Mont Semnoz. If the Briton becomes successful in overcoming these challenges, Froome could be on his way to victory at Champs-Élysées in Paris on Sunday.
