An absolute Aussie hunk, Chris Hemsworth showed off perfect abs as he swam off summer heat in Sydney.

Australian star Chris Hemsworth is spending some time off in his hometown in the Land Down Under ahead of the Australian premiere of Snow White And The Huntsman. Paparazzi were definitely not disappointed stalking Chris in his vacation as he brought some good treats for his female fans.

The former "Home And Away" star took the opportunity to go for a surf, despite the cold weather. He was also caught with his shirt off taking a dip in the pool atop the Park Hyatt.

In Twitter, Chris Hemsworth was trending yesterday and a slew of tweets with his photos were repeatedly posted by some of his fans.

One Twitter user posted "Chris Hemsworth constantly reminds me that yes..I am straight" attached with a copy of Chris' half-naked photo.

2011 and 2012 have been great years for Hemsworth's acting career. The star garnered success in Hollywood and appeared in various hit movies such as in super-hero blockbusters "Thor" and "The Avengers."

However, the ever so humble Australian hunk credited much of his success to his parents and family.

Chris Hemsworth celebrated his first Father's Day last weekend as her wife delivered their first born early this year. Chris said that he gained a lot of experience in handling children from babysitting his manager's kids and his older brother's three children.

Hemsworth will walk the red carpet with co-star Kristen Stewart at the film premiere at Bondi Junction's Event Cinemas tonight.
