Chris Hemsworth Gushes About His Kids And Nominates Brother Liam As Sexiest Man Alive For 2015
Chris Hemsworth won the title of People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2014 and he says that he is willing to turn the baton over to his younger brother, Liam. Chris also talks about how he and his family really feel about the title and how his life changed after having kids in a recent interview.
During a recent press junket for his new film project entitled "Blackhat," E News caught up with Chris and sat down with him for a small chat. Chris talked about being given the title of Sexiest Man Alive for 2014 and how he initially thought he earned bragging rights from it. To his disappointment, his wife and his brothers all laughed and demanded a recount. He said that they even jokingly asked him how many people had to turn down the title before it finally landed on his lap.
When asked if he would nominate his younger brother Liam to take over the title for 2015, Chris said that he will completely support his brother's campaign. He jokingly said that he now has a lot of worldly experience and knowledge on the matter and he can surely help his brother out.
Speaking of Liam, Chris also said that his younger brother is a good uncle and a trustworthy baby sitter. Chris now has three small children and so does their older brother so Liam has a lot of experience around kids. Chris gushed about fatherhood and said that having children makes one less selfish. He said that it's refreshing to stop thinking about your own problems because it's not all about you anymore. He also said that having kids has made him more choosy about the work that he does because any project must be worth the time spent away from his family.
Chris and his wife Elsa Pataky have 2 and half year old daughter India and twin sons who are 8 months old. He said that his young daughter is full of energy and strong-minded. He also said that even at such a young age, he can already see the differences between his twin boys. In fact as soon as they were born, he saw the difference when one cried and the other didn't.
"Blackhat" is expected to hit theatres in the last week of January, 2015. Chris will also be reprising his role as Norse God Thor in the upcoming sequel "Avengers: Age of Ultron" which is also set to come out later this year.
