Things are definitely heating up between Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence. Not only the singer is writing songs for her, but the actress is also joining him in the upcoming Coldplay tour. After their very intimate dinner at Wolfer Estate, in celebration of Jennifer's 24th birthday, things are getting serious between the singer and Academy award-winning actress.

Fresh from her break-up from "X-Men" co-star Nicholas Hoult, Lawrence is moving too fast with the Coldplay singer. Taking some down time from her hectic schedules, the actress is clearly smitten by the singer and genuinely surprised by his sense of humour that she is going to tag along with his U.S. cross country tour.

"He writes her songs and loves taking her to private, romantic spots," a source told Us Weekly. "The better she gets to know him, the more she likes him. She says he's super funny and sweet. Jen was blown away at his London show. His music is absolutely part of the attraction!"

Good thing for "The Hunger Games" star, Martin's bandmate really like her and her presence will not affect the group's dynamics as they stop in U.S. major cities including New York, Chicago and L.A. Based on reports, the 37-year-old rocker doesn't want to be away from his kids that they only selected a few major cities for the concert.

Known for his beautiful lyrics, the Coldplay's frontman writes majority of the band's music and plays the guitar, keyboard and piano. Their sixth album, which came out before the couple announced their amicable separation, is about Chris' struggle about his marriage.

Chris has two children, a daughter, Apple who is 10, and a son, Moses who is 8, with Gwyneth Paltrow and the "Iron Man" star is reportedly happy that he is moving on with Jennifer. Paltrow announced their "conscious uncoupling" back in March and rumour has it that she is also seeing "Glee's" co-creator Brad Falchuck.

"Gwyneth loves that Jen has integrity, and a sense of humour, and isn't like a lot of the mindless groupies who throw themselves at Chris. She told Chris that she has a good feeling about Jen and feels as if she's someone he can trust," according to an insider in an interview posted on British magazine Grazia.

Representatives of both Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are yet to comment about the news posted on Independent.
