‘Clash Royale’ Clan Battle button update: New mode features 2v2 mode

“Clash Royale” is receiving a new update with an all new 2v2 game mode. This mode is known to be Clan Battle, which is said to feature a 2v2 gaming. The new mode was revealed during Radio Royale’s official podcast series.

Supercell, developers of the “Clash Royale” and Clash of Clans games, recently gave out Easter Eggs to Supercell employees. They revealed that there were hints of what the next update has in store for “Clash Royale” fans and players in the forums. The developers have finally released official information of the update in their recent podcast. The podcast that was released on March 9 revealed that there is a new game mode that will be unveiled soon.

The developers admitted that the button went through several names like Team Battle and 2v2. However, they decided to name it Clan Battle. They described it as “the most outrageous game mode” that they have ever made so far.

How does it work

The way the game works is similar to a Friendly Battle. This means that the new mode will make use of the tournament rules where the tower level and cards used will be capped. The new mode is accessible in the Clan chat and invitations are given out in there as well. If one player wants to play with another player, they simply have to send a message. Once it is accepted, the two players will be matched up.

Both players will have their own 10 Elixir bars to use in the game. However, it will be replenished slower than usual. According to the developers, it will be 15 percent slower than the normal rate. If a player uses an Elixir Collector Card, it will only provide Elixirs to the player who puts down the Elixir Collector. However, if a player plays a buff card, like Rage, it will affect all units even the troops from the partner.

Release of the new mode

There is no exact release date for the new mode, but players will be able to play this mode every other weekend. Although there is no exact release date, fans have suggested that it will come out soon. This is due to Orange Juice, a YouTube channel, releasing a gameplay sneak peek. Many fans believe that it will come out in the next week or so. This new mode will surely come out before March ends.

In other news, the podcast released recently also suggested that there will be another Arena added in the near future. No one is sure as to when this new Arena will come out or what the name will be.
