Apparently, LeBron James and his camp is giving Pat Riley one more day to re-pitch a return to the Miami Heat before the King makes his anticipated return home.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are rolling out the red carpet, hired a band to play the music and is preparing to bring in Minnesota power forward Kevin Love to be a part of the welcoming committee.

Cleveland was in the mix prior to the draft to acquire Kevin Love but the star forward nixed the deal. With the prospect of playing alongside the four-time Most Valuable Player and two-time NBA Champion, the disgruntled versatile Love might just change his mind. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports broke the news via Twitter:

Cavaliers are pursuing a Kevin Love trade with Minnesota, contingent on the signing of LeBron James, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

What Makes the Deal Appealing

1. LeBron joins a team with established players

Although both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love have not sniffed the playoffs, they are established players and need miniscule development. Add Anderson Varejao and cross your fingers he stays healthy, the Cavaliers can hide the defensive deficiencies of Love on the Brazilian and LeBron. If this commensurate, this makes the Cavaliers instant contenders in the Eastern conference yet again.

2. LeBron will have his Bosh 2.0

Kevin Love is a three point shooting champion and carried a Timberwolves team by developing his inside out game. Last year proved that he can operate down low with a re-mastered right hook and be threat as a pick and pop player. Though Bosh is leaps and bounds better on defense, the rebounding prowess of Love will prove to be a lethal weapon to a LeBron James and Irving who will attract multiple defenders when they drive the lane freeing up Love to munch up the misses. And also, he is a younger Bosh.

3. David Blatt will develop the team's defense

With the two next best players after LeBron are question marks on defense, the influence of new European coach David Blatt and the work ethic of James is expected to rub off on both Love and Irving. While the offense will be a cakewalk with the trio, it would be pertinent to improve on the team defense to be able to compete for a championship.

4. Minnesota will be ecstatic to add Bennett and Wiggins

If this deal goes down, Minnesota must be lauded for having exercising patience in the Kevin Love dilemma. They will get the prospect with the highest ceiling in Andrew Wiggins and will also have Anthony Bennett as a big man consolation. This will give Ricky Rubio the athletes he deserves so he can run and gun with the team.

All in all these prospects still hinge on Decision 2.0 which will come upon us in the next 48 hours.
