Clooney Felt 'Lucky' with Keibler in Tow During the Hollywood Film Awards
George Clooney felt "lucky" last Tuesday at the Hollywood Film Awards, but new girlfriend Stacey Keibler was not the only reason.
"I was lucky enough to have a hospital show that was on Thursday nights at 10," said Clooney after receiving the Hollywood Actor Award from "The Descendants" co-actor Beau Bridges.
The "Up in the Air" star got his big break on the long-running medical drama "ER."
"That changed my career. Forty million people a week. That's a lot." he continued, according to E! Online.
He did joke about not feeling as lucky standing behind the podium with huge monitors screaming out the blemishes of presenters and honorees alike.
"It's killing like 20-year-olds--I'm 50! Can't survive that!" Clooney laughed.
Receiving the award was not the only reason for reason for feeling lucky. The whole night Stacey Keibler was seen cozying up to the Hollywood Actor Award recipient.
The former WWE Diva was quickly guided by handlers backstage to join Clooney before returning to the stage to present Stephen Mirrione the Hollywood Editor Award.
Formerly one of the Nitro Girls in WCW, she became a WWE Diva before pursuing an acting career.
After going public in the red carpet premiere of "The Descendants" held in New York, the couple were also seen in the Paris premiere for "The Ides of March"
News of the new couple broke out only months after Clooney's split from Italian model Elisabetta Canalis.
Although the new couple skipped the red carpet and headed directly to their table, it is worth noting that they never left each other's sides.
They laughed, chatted, and even did not shy away from showing affection by sharing a couple of kisses, as reported by Celebuzz.
During the show, the "Dancing with the Stars" contestant was at ease mingling with numerous Hollywood elite.
Aside from Clooney's performance in "The Descendants," notable Hollywood Film Award recipients are Michelle Williams for her performance in "My Week with Marilyn," Carey Mulligan in a supporting role in " Shame," and Glenn Close receiving the Hollywood Career Achievement Award for "Albert Nobbs." as reported by Yahoo Movies.
