Facebook’s co-founding President, Sean Parker gets engaged to a singer-songwriter, says his representative, Matthew Hiltzik.
According to Reuters, his representative confirmed that the technology entrepreneur proposed to girlfriend Alexandra Lenas.
Parker is also the co-founder of Napster and became more popularized when his character was played by singer, Justin Timberlake in the film, “The Social Network’.
In the film, Parker is portrayed as a ‘hard-partying ladies man’ by singer-actor, Justin Timberlake. The tech entrepreneur who founded Napster in 1999 at the age of 19, was earlier reported dismissing the way his character was portrayed in the film, saying it was ‘fiction’.
Reuters noted that Parker left Facebook in 2005 and is currently a partner at the venture capital firm, Founders Fund.
Napster, mostly attributed to Parker has resulted in turmoil in the music scene, said Reuters. It allowed free ‘peer-to-peer file sharing of songs’ causing great impact on the music business. It was ordered by the court to close down in 2001 after ruling that it has violated ‘copy infringement’.
