"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" is hitting Australian cinemas on Dec 5, 2013.

This animated comedy is a franchise to Sony Pictures Animation's 2009 hit comedy with the same title.

In the movie, Flint Lockwoods's intellectual ability is finally recognised as he joins his idol, Chester V, in The Live Corp Company - the company where only the best investors in the world are given opportunity to create innovations for the benefit of mankind.

Flint had always dreamed to be recognise as the world's great inventor but to no avail. One day, he discovered that his "failed" invention - a machine that turns water into food - is now being improperly used to create food-animal hybrids or "foodimals."

Chester sends Flint to an important and crazy mission - to fight hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses and cheespiders - to save the world for the second time.

This amusing and wacky plot is not the only thing that Aussies should look forward to about the movie. Cody Simpson's "La Da Dee" is also featured in this comedy. In fact, he and sister, Alli, attended the movie's premiere.

Cody Simpson, a 16-year-old Aussie, is managed by a reputable manager Scooter Braun.

Cody is young, but he knows how to put those talents into play. He plays the guitar (since he was 6 years old) and his vocal prowess is advanced for his age. Even if his music is purely pop, he does not sound like a girl trapped in a boy's body when singing.

He said that his musical inspirations are Justin Timberlake and Jack Johnson.

Cody is also admired by fans for his wits and his noble acts at his young age. He had participated in an anti-bullying movement called Defeat the Label. He also served as the celebrity ambassador for Teen Cancer America. According to fans, Cody is very approachable and does not allow fame to get into his head unlike other famous young pop singers out there. He makes it a point to acknowledge his fans through tweets and for those lucky enough, he has no qualms about having a selfie with fans.
