Coldplay committed to come to Australia on November as part of their mini tour.

The tour dates and venues will not be revealed until next month. However, the UK band's Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland appeared on Channel 7's "Sunrise" this morning live from New York to reveal the outdoor arena tour.

Last month, the band postponed their tour in the Land Down Under. Australian fans are surely disappointed that the British band Coldplay who is set to perform in Sydney for their mini-tour next week in two intimate concerts - for Sunrise and 2Day FM - on February 16 and 17, underwritten by Chinese telco Huawei Mobile. However, for "personal reasons," the band decided to postpone their performance.

In a statement, the band expressed, "We sincerely apologise to our Australian fans for having to postpone next week's scheduled trip. We miss you guys and we promise we'll make it up to you. In fact, stay tuned for a big announcement soon." The band also used the time to practice their performance for the recently concluded Brit Awards.

In the telecast, Chris Martin was apologetic because he got sick during the months of January and February causing the delay of the show. Martin has also said the details of the tour were not finalized yet. However, the band told news.com.au they will have the crowds sporting LED wristbands to create a light show that will be controlled by the band. "It's a little self-indulgent on our part but we love the way it looks when thousands of people all have lights on them," Coldplay's frontman said.
