The English alternative rock band Coldplay paid a touching tribute to Amy Winehouse at a show in Australia. Lead vocalist Chris Martin led the thousands of fans in a rendition of the tragic singer's track "Rehab".

The rockers were performing at Splendour In The Grass at Woodford, in Queensland. Chris changed the opening lyrics of the band's track "Fix You" to the first lines from Amy Winehouse's 2006 hit. In an audio recording, the crowd was heard singing the song's celebrated "No, no, no" refrain.

The band later released a statement saying: "There is little that can be said about Amy Winehouse's passing that hasn't already been said. It's just such a sad waste. We'll leave aside the awful irony and just let the Aussie choir sing."
