Coldplay’s Chris Martin Spotted on a Date with Alexa Chung, Sparks Cheating Rumours Against Gwyneth Paltrow
Coldplay's front man Chris Martin has got the rumor mill churning after he was pictured enjoying drinks with Alexa Chung last week in New York City.
The date between the Alexa Chung and Chris Martin has been making headlines all over the Internet. The "unconscious uncoupling" of Paltrow and Martin has been masked in mystery; no real reason has been given out by the two camps with regard to their breakup.
"Chris and Alexa seemed to know each other really well. They were both in a great mood, and even asked us to watch their bags when they went out for a cigarette. It definitely looked like a date to me," claims a source that spotted Chris and Alexa at the Elsa bar in New York, as reported by E! News.
The source further revealed that Alexa and Chris were "tucked away in a dark corner of the back room of the bar."
The date of the pair has come under fire especially since it was only two months after Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their "conscious uncoupling." Many fans have since wondered if Alexa Chung might have caused the rift between the ex-lovebirds, sparking cheating rumours on Chris Martin's side.
However, the Coldplay front man has since rubbished the issue about Alexa Chung claiming that the "story is completely untrue."
Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were pictured together celebrating Mother's Day last week. The two have remained amicable towards each other for the benefit of their two kids, Apple and Moses. The ex-couple has also travelled to the Bahamas with their two children for vacation.
"They are getting on so well together, and still spending a lot of time together," a source revealed to E! News. "It's kind of like the separation was never announced, you wouldn't even know that they are a couple that are going their separate ways." The source further mentioned to the publication.
Gwyneth Paltrow now busies herself with her upcoming movie titled "The Secret in Their Eyes," a remake of the award-winning movie "El Secreto del Sus Ojos." Paltrow will star opposite "12 Years a Slave" Chiwetel Ejiofor.
