In perhaps the most highly anticipated match early into the college football season, defending BCS champion Alabama and Texas A&M are all ready to electrify the playing field on Saturday (3:00 a.m) at College Station, Texas.

After one year of wait, Alabama head coach Nick Saban and the rest of the Crimson Tides will finally have a chance to avenge the loss that almost ruined their BCS Championship last season.

Johnny Manziel, then a freshman quarterback, threw for 253 yards with two touchdowns and ran for 92 yards to spearhead the Aggies to a 29-24 victory over the Tides. That sensational performance alone helped turn the Heisman Trophy winner into a full-fledged sports star.

As for Alabama, that loss toughened them up as the Tides won all their remaining games, including the BCS title match against Notre Dame to bag their third National Championship crown in four years.

Without a doubt, there's a lot of hype surrounding the latest showdown between Alabama and Texas A&M. But for Crimson Tide Amari Cooper, it's just another game.

"Yeah, it's the only game we lost last year," Cooper said Monday, according to ESPN. "To me, it's not a revenge thing because if we wanted to get revenge, we'd have to play that same team last year with the same team we had last year.

"It's really not a revenge thing. If you lose a fight with someone, you don't get revenge from fighting someone else."

Aside from the Alabama and Texas A&M duel, IBT Sports will also cover the games between the Michigan and Akron, and Ohio State Buckeyes and California Golden Bears.
