Funny man Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy might be a couple again soon as the two are reportedly meeting for the past month and has kept in touch almost daily since they broke up last April.

The couple went separate ways after five years allegedly because of Carrey's bouts of depression which made life together very difficult at times.

Now Star is reporting that Carrey and McCarthy might be hitting it off again.

According to Star, Jim and Jenny have been talking almost daily and had discreetly been meeting last August.

"Jenny has told Jim that she missed him, and he didn't want to end it in the first place," a source tells Star.

"Jenny now thinks she may have rushed into breaking up with Jim. He can be hard to deal with, but he can also be so sweet and loving and fun... Jim's daughter, Jane, had urged Jenny to take him back all along. Everyone in their circles agrees that Jim and Jenny belong together."

The two had been living in together since 2006, but had only publicly declared their relationship in 2008. Last April, Jim Carrey confirmed that McCarthy has moved out after ending their five-year relationship.
