Samsung, LG, Huawei and many other new products are expected to make announcements at IFA Berlin in the coming week. Very few details about new products from Sony was received.

In a commercial released recently, Sony apparently leaked its upcoming tablet as well as smartwatch. The advertisement says that the device would be rough and tough and a person shows off the smartwatch along with the tablet.

Early in August, buzz was about a new device from Sony. A new smartwatch was leaked in a user manual by the company.

This commercial has made it clear that a new smartwatch will be released. Gadget watchers will be fascinated to see the specifications of the device.

Sony is not a new game player in the business of smartwatches. It is the company that released the first smartwatch. However, their attempt of making it successful did not work.

Now, consumers have plenty of options that are available in the market to choose from like Pebbles, Omate and even big companies like Samsung, Motorola and LG. It would seem tough for Sony to get back into the league of the smartwatch race.

Recently, the company was focusing on its smartphones as there are very few Sony smartphones in the market. Earlier this year the Xperia tablet was released that received positive response from users as well as critics. However, it will not be easy for them to compete with their rivals in the market.

The Xperia Z3 compact tablet will be Sony's answer to customers who are looking for a small sized quality product.

Rumours were revealed that the device will have 8 inch Triluminous display that has full HD resolution and X Reality Engine.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Chipset with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.

The back camera comes with an 8MP shooter with Sony Exmor Sensor, the same technology they use in their select Cyber-shot digital cameras that captures extraordinarily detailed pictures even in low lighting.

The device could be a success with customers with these specifications and if the price is right.

Sony will release more details of these products when they unveil Xperia Z3 compact tablet and Sony smartwatch 3 at the IFA event in Berlin next week.
