Conor McGregor may have run his mouth too much in this one. The Notorious has reportedly deleted a damaging tweet which may cost him some penalties and sanctions from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

The Irishman was having a no-holds barred tweet session with fans yesterday as he responded to questions ranging from who is better between him and current flyweight champion Jose Aldo to queries on when he will fight next again. As reported first by Bloody Elbow, a site devoted to mixed martial arts news, McGregor responded to a malicious tweet from a follower which went like this: " @TheNotoriousMMA one night before the world ends...Ronda or Miesha?"

The up and coming contender for the featherweight title could have chosen to ignore the baiting question but still playfully joined the banter and came up with a graphic response: @TheNotoriousMMA: "@soundmangaz: @TheNotoriousMMA one night before the world ends..Ronda or Miesha?" One ridin dick, one lickin ma toes"

The tweet has been deleted since it was posted. It is also unclear if the UFC has already been notified of the said incident given that it will compound allegations of objectifying women fighters in the league. Since the deletion of the post, McGregor has already apologized to Tate and Rousey via a new tweet. Tate has already accepted the apology of the Irishman but the Rousey camp has still been mum on the subject.

McGregor has been very visible and vocal in the mixed martial arts world today granting interviews and taking an active participation in social media. In this month alone he has already generated controversy for announcing a fight in Mexico which has not yet been finalized by the UFC.

He has also ticked off fellow fighters Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo by constantly bringing up how he will trample the two respected fighters. His bravado has already extended to envisioning an imaginary title defence at an imaginary venue when he has not fought a single title match. More than that, The Notorious has pronounced his eventual move-up in weight class given that at a young age of 26, he has nowhere to go but up.

This latest controversy will surely halt his ascend especially that he is bound to irritate two of the most recognizable women fighters in the sport, the other one, Rousey, can be considered the face of the UFC. This Irishman better hire some good public relations officer to hold his horses.
