Copper Showing The Way Forward?
FNArena has added another video to its Investors Education section on the website. In this latest video, Jerry Simmons explains why copper may well be showing the way forward for other risk assets. Dr Copper, as the metal is sometimes dubbed due to its alleged strong correlation with global economic health, is facing stiff technical resistance at US$3.95-4.00 per pound. Simmons points out that if and when copper manages to move above this area risk assets should be off to the races!
In the same vein, Simmons is keeping a close watch on the CRB index, gold, EUR/USD, crude oil and US equities as all -each in a different form- appear to be setting up a technical picture on price charts that could eventually allow for a bullish break-out.
