Cory Monteith celebrates Thanksgiving the Canadian way, and what better way to top it off than by taking part in the Canadian Football Parade.

Held in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Canadian Football Parade is not only home to the famous singer, Justin Bieber, but to Glee's famous Cory Monteith.

The "Glee" star surely dressed the part of grand marshal. Monteith came marching into the Canadian Football Parade wearing a BC Lions Jersey complete with his name imprinted on the back.

The singer also topped off his look with a BC Lions beanie, known to Canadians as a tuque.

Even before the parade got a move on, it was no surprise that Monteith was all "eye candy" for the crowd. Screaming fans wanted a more glee-full encounter with the star. Photos with the star and autographed footballs were given out but even when the parade started to move, it sure did not stop fans from running up to Monteith's large gray pick-up truck to snap a quick photo of the cutie.

"He seemed to love the attention," says an onlooker whom was interviewed by People's Christine Kilpatrick.

Monteith's tweet confirms that. And that parade surely did not stop him from recording a short video of his fans all up and ready to greet him.

"Grey Cup Parade! The weather was a bit damp, but glad so many people came out!!!" tweeted Monteith.

After the parade, he posed with the Grey Cup trophy awarded to the winning team of the Canadian Football League championship game.

Yet with all the happenings Sunday, that wasn't the only thing the star managed to tweet on his Canadian day out. Monteith also managed to tweet multiple photographs of the famous Vancouver snowy slopes. Another thrilling Canadian encounter was his meeting with Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Talk about a Thanksgiving to be really thankful for.
