Cory Monteith's Music: What's On His iPod? (Video)
Cory Monteith, the Glee actor who died suddenly at the age of 31 at a hotel in Vancouver, had a diverse taste in music. He's the usual kind of guy who liked the heavy rock 'n' roll stuff, but he's never afraid to admit that he had a guilty pleasure listening to mainstream pop music.
Being the drummer of the California-based indie rock outfit Bonnie Dune, Monteith also had his roots listening to laidback obscure indie-pop music -- guitar-based, quirky, sad but beautiful.
Here are Monteith's music preferences, who might be a part of his iPod playlist. We do hope you take time to listen and remember how great he was with everything that he did. RIP Cory.
10. At The Drive-In
Post-hardcore Texas band at the Drive-In broke up in 2001. But on January 2012, the band officially reunited. Monteith retweeted At The Drive-In's official announcement.
9. Party in the U.S.A. - Miley Cyrus
The late actor was asked on Twitter about his favourite guilty pleasure song. Cory tweeted:

7. Lady Gaga
'Nuff said!
6. Headlights - Morning Parade
Most people like to drive while listening to music. And so does Cory. He tweeted on September 12th, "driving pop rock is like candy fro breakfast, now playing: Morning Parade - Headlights".
5. The Head and the Heart - Rivers and Roads
Listening to indie folk-pop band The Head and the Heart can give one a solemn pleasure. On February 20th, he tweeted a link to the band's video:
4. Tegan and Sara

According to him, this is his favourite Glee duet with co-star and real-life girlfriend Lea Michele.

1. Paris - Friendly Fires
On July 8th, six days before his death, the actor tweeted that he'd been playing Friendly Fires' remix version of Paris repeatedly. The Hollywood Reporter interviewed Erika Forster who was featured on the vocals for the song, ""It's a really universal song because it has a longing bit to it, but also this innocence," she said. "It's really sweet -- the message of, 'Let's run away together.'"
