Cory Montieth's Cousin Speaks Up on Glee Star's Autopsy: Remember the Man
The death of Cory Montieth has already been subject to rumor and speculation but Cory Monteith's devastated cousin has called to ignore the conditions in which Cory had died-it is best to remember the man that Cory was.
Richard Monteith gave a morning television interview. He begged the fans as well as the public to look passed the flaws of Cory and focused on the many achievements of the talented star in his short life.
In the interview with Global BC TV in Canada on Monday, he pleaded "Please don't judge on what is gonna be coming out."
He added that there are still many things that Cory could have done. But in his short life he has already accomplished a lot of good things. Cory's cousin wanted to focus on the good things instead of Cory's faults.
Richard continued to say that Cory was beautifully genuine. He would do anything for anyone. He would even give his shirt off his back if another person needed it.
He also stated that he and Cory was not really close as cousins but that he was really devastated by his cousin's death.
Richard said that the public should not focus on the last chapter of Cory's life and labeled it as a bad thing. People should not judge someone's life because there are many chapters in one's life.
He said that Cory's problems should not matter rather the lives that he changed should matter. It matters that he was a genuine human being.
A preliminary results of the autopsy in Cory's death on Saturday revealed that there was no obvious cause of death. Foul play has already been ruled out by the Vancouver police.
British Columbia Coroners Service will conduct further testing in order to identify exactly how the Glee star died.
Barb McLintock, from the coroner's office, said that drugs were part of Cory's history but he was not secretive about it. However, the spokeswoman said that it does not imply that it is the cause of death.
