If Hollywood decides to make a movie out of Amy Winehouse's' life, Eva Mendes would be perfect for the lead role.

Ryan Gosling's lovely lady friend is going overboard on the "looks" department with her role in "Holly Motors." The actress was spotted in Paris on the set of her new movie with fiery red hair.

Mendes' beehive red hair along with her winged black eyeliner could easily pass off as Winehouse's trademark look.

Was she channeling the late singer or was it merely a coincidence for her new role?

The 37-year old actress boasted her copper locks at the Père Lachaise Cemetery, where cameras were set up for the filming of "Holly Motors." Eva Mendes was clad in a cleavage-baring gold dress and was wearing tower high vertiginous heels.

Mendes is best known for her oozing sex appeal in playing dressup, paired her provocative outfit with an animal print jacket. Her made-up look of porcelain skin, dramatic eyeliner and flaming red lips, completed the actresses' vixen look.

So what to expect from the movie "Holly Motors" aside from Mendes' foxy new hairdo?

Expect "Holly Motors" to hit the big screen in 2012. Directed by Leo Caras, the movie is about a man who can travel between different lives which include a beggar, a father, a murderer, CEO and even a monstrous creature. Somewhat similar to "The Time Traveler's Wife," but with monsters and murderers.

The cast also includes the ever sexy and alluring Kylie Minogue, Michel Piccoli and Dennis Lavant. Lavant is a French actor who plays the lead role while Mendes is set to play one of the characters from his past.

As for her blazing red locks that always look gorgeous on and off set, Mendes makes a point of keeping her hair in top condition. Proof of her dedication to keeping her hair in prime condition is her hair care product line for Pantene.

Mendes is now the latest celebrity ambassador for Pantene's Nature Fusion Line which have been designed to be environment friendly.
