Amanda Seyfried and Josh Hartnett take their dogs and possibly their blossoming new romance to the beach. The pair, who were first spotted in public while grocery shopping in Los Angeles, rounded up their dogs for a fun day at the beach in Malibu. Seyfried took her Australian shepherd named Finn while Hartnett's mixed-breed pup Iggy joined in. With Hartnett just standing close by, Seyfried laughed as she watched Finn run in and out of the water. Later, Hartnett played fetch with both Iggy and Finn by tossing a tennis ball over the sand.

It is no secret that Seyfried feels extremely connected to her pooch and she takes him almost everywhere she goes. "I'm obsessed with my dog," she told People. "He's become my son and my light source and kind of a savior to a lot of people, a lot of my friends," Amanda further added. On the other hand, Hartnett also seems to be very close to his dog. Iggy is often spotted with the actor out on the town or at the park.

It looks like Amanda Seyfried's relationship with Josh Hartnett is continuing to heat up. The "Mama Mia" actress was even spotted getting cozy in the car with the silver screen hunk in Los Angeles. News has only just emerged that the pair are dating but by the looks of things, they are definitely spending every moment of their spare time together. Seyfried, 26, wore a conservative ensemble of floral leggings and grey top for her date with the "Pearl Harbor" hunk. Hartnett, 33, meanwhile also kept it casual by donning a trendy grey cardigan, turquoise T-shirt, beanie hat and sunglasses.

The actress is said to have been hanging out with the "August" heartthrob since they were introduced by mutual friends in January. However, things now seem to be getting more serious. "Josh likes to keep things low-key, so they've just been hanging out," a source told US Weekly. The couple certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves as they went for a romantic stroll on the beach in Los Angeles with their respective four-legged friends.
