Couple Alert: Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra Spotted On A Cozy Date [PHOTOS AND VIDEO]
Are things really heating up between the former "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell and "Scary Movie" actress Carmen Electra? The rumored couple has been spotted having an intimate date at Cecconi's Restaurant in West Hollywood, Los Angeles over the weekend.
According to reports, this was not Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra's first date after they flirted with each other back in February when the 40-year old actress became a bizarre guest judge on the TV show "Britain's Got Talent."
The pair was reportedly inseparable during the auditions as they ignored the acts performing on-stage and annoyed the other judges with their constant flirting. During one audition, Carmen Electra even stroked Simon Cowell's arm because she was kind of bored.
"I was distracted by his shirt, the color, the texture," Electra said causing the exasperated judge David Walliams to snap. "Stop looking at him, look at the act on stage," Walliams said.
The former Playboy playmate also posted on "Twitter" a picture of herself next to Simon Cowell on the set. Once again, the picture shows that the notoriously straight-forward Englishman seemed to have his eyes fixed on the prize.
The rumored pair further drew attention to the media when they smiled and hugged for the photographers outside the restaurant. Wearing a figure-hugging blue dress paired with red heels and a red clutch, Carmen Electra also posed with the music mogul for a photograph before climbing with him into the waiting Rolls Royce. However, a source close to the 53-year old Cowell claimed that it was a group dinner. "Simon and a group of around eight friends had dinner at Cecconi's on Saturday night," the source said.
Meanwhile, witnesses inside the restaurant revealed that Simon Cowell was definitely entranced with Carmen Electra. "They were really into each other," a witness shared. Simon Cowell's only mention of the weekend was posted on a message through his "Twitter" account. "I hope you had a nice weekend. Mine was very nice," Cowell wrote.
