Taylor Swift may be unlucky in love but it appears that the country singer might be giving the dating game another go. According to "Us Weekly" magazine, the 22-year-old has been spotted enjoying a flirtatious dinner date with Zac Efron.

The superstars were allegedly seen arriving at an Italian restaurant together in Zac's car and they were deep in conversation and very giggly.

"They were in L.A. doing press stuff together, and after they were done, they decided to grab dinner," the source shared.

"Taylor thinks Zac's cute but they are on totally different wavelengths," another insider claimed.

The 24-year-old actor, Efron, who has been single since splitting from his "High School Musical" co-star Vanessa Hudgens in December 2010, has said in the past that he thinks Taylor is a lovely and very beautiful girl.

Meanwhile, Taylor has returned the favor branding Zac as an all-around amazing guy. Despite the rumors, an informant claimed to the celebrity magazine that the two are just good friends.

The pair will co-star together in the upcoming animated movie "The Lorax", an adaptation of the Dr. Seuss book.

In two new foreign posters released for the highly anticipated "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" movie, Taylor and Zac's characters look like they have already caught the love bug. Zac Efron is still dreamy even in animated form, probably the reason why Taylor Swift's ginger-locked alter ego has fallen head over heels for him.

They may only be cartoon characters in the said film, but there is no denying that their caricatures have a love connection.
