Country superstar couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are both nominated for Best Male Vocalist of the Year and Best Female Vocalist of the Year for the 47th Annual Country Music Association Awards.

The couple took home three awards for Male and Female Vocalist of the year, and Blake winning the Album of the Year in an event which was held at the Bridgestone Arena on November 6, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, the 2013 CMA Awards is full of surprises and a star studded event where country superstars celebrate every year.

The 27-year-old country crooner looked ravishing as she walks the red carpet with husband for two years, Blake Shelton. She was beaming with pride as she accepts her Best Female Vocalist Award; she was also nominated for Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

Shelton is the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, and his wife Miranda failed to take home the same award, country legend George Strait took home the prestigious award.

Shelton is nominated in 5 various categories: Blake was nominated again as Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Album of the Year and Musical Event of the Year. Blake ends up winning the Album of the Year, Based on a True Story which was produced by Scott -Hendricks. His platinum-selling album has garnered three No. 1 hits.

During an interview with CMT, Lambert says, "[Blake] really deserves to be in the spotlight right now, he's making country music look great now on national television every week, and I just feel like it's his time."

With so much happening now, Lambert tells CMT that there she needs to savor all the great stuff that's happening to her. "

It's amazing," she acknowledges. "I don't think we even realize what all has happened to us in the last year or two years. I'm ready to sort of sit back and Google myself and be like 'What have I been doing?' All this great stuff's been happening and I haven't been able to enjoy it because there's so much other stuff going on."

The 37-year-old The Voice coach couldn't help to get smitten again with his wife as Miranda Lambert rocked the CMA Awards red carpet with her stunning low-cut bright blue gown. The duo is definitely the couple of the night as they both went home with awards.

"My wife is so hot it's ridiculous...," Blake tweeted following their red carpet arrival.

The bond country singer has clearly slimmed down, and her latest red carpet look definitely soothes her.
