Angelina Jolie has stayed away from the media attention for almost one year but the Hollywood actress made a simple yet chic comeback during her red carpet appearance on Sunday night at the American Society of Cinematographers' Outstanding Achievement Awards.

Initially, the media buzzed about her return but later on reignited the wedding rumors with long-time partner Brad Pitt.

The 37-year-old actress attended the Hollywood event to honor Dean Semler with the "Lifetime Achievement Award." Deam Semler is the director of photography on Angelina Jolie's directorial debut film "In the Land of Blood and Honey."

During her red carpet appearance, Angelina Jolie looked elegant in a long-sleeved cashmere wool cocktail Atelier Versace dress with a simple ponytail hairstyle and jewelries including the 16-carat diamond ring that fiancé Brad Pitt gave to her.

With Angelina Jolie's comeback appearance, the wedding date rumors started to come out once again. Since Brad Pitt's marriage proposal in April 2012, there have been numerous reports on the couple's big wedding day but both Brad and Angie remain tight-lipped about the details.

According to Grazia's report last January, Brad and Angie are considering the end of May or early June for their wedding day at the couple's French estate which will happen at the same time with the Cannes Film Festival.

"Their renovations are due to finish any day now and builders have been working around the clock to complete it in time. Plus all of Brad and Angelina's closest friends in the industry will be in town for Cannes," a source revealed to Grazia magazine.

On the other hand, astrologer Susan Miller made the same wedding date prediction to omg! celebrity news last December 2012.

"They will be in the news in April, and May even more. Something's going on here. Are they getting married? She's a Gemini and 80 percent of brides marry within six weeks of their birthday, Jolie's is June 4. She's getting married in June. And it will be perfect!" Miller stated.
