Couple News: Ian Somerhalder Focuses on ISF and Partnership with Cree without Girlfriend Nina Dobrev
Fans are becoming worried with couple Ian Somerhadler and Nina Dobrev's separate appearances in numerous events for quite some time now. Recently, the "Vampire Diaries" actor discussed his work and focus on "The Ian Somerhalder Foundation" and a partnership with "Cree" without girlfriend Nina Dobrev at his side to show support.
As founder of "The Ian Somerhalder Foundation," the 34-year-old actor revealed that the feeling of helplessness has inspired him to begin setting up the foundation. "I felt this feeling, like most people, this feeling of helplessness. I don't ever want anyone to feel that helpless again. And that's what ISF was born out of, a feeling of complete helplessness and the desire and need to positively impact, warn and activate people, so that's what we're doing," Ian stated.
Furthermore, Ian Somerhalder feels proud and accomplished with his new partnership with "Cree" which is a huge LED manufacturer. "Cree" has the goal of changing the light bulbs consumer market.
"I have an LED company called "Go Green Mobile Power" and we're literally greening the oil industry. We're really moving into the world of LED and Cree actually builds our lights for us. It's a really phenomenal, full-circle partnership between Cree, me and some of the projects that I've been working on. I'm really thankful to these guys," Ian shared.
On the "Vampire Diaries" series, Ian Somerhalder talked about why his character, Damon Salvatore, asked for Elena shut off her emotions. "Damon kind of shot himself in the foot. But he really did relieve Elena of an exceptional amount of pain. So he won in one department, lost in another. You win some, you lose some. There's a cost-benefit analysis to all of it, you know what I mean?" the actor stated.
The couple is evidently spending their time apart. Nina Dobrev was recently spotted with one of her girl friends, Julianne Hough, as they kept each other company while watching the "Lakers Game" at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The media's split rumors between Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev still continues to grow since the couple has not appeared in public together.
