The "Vampire Diaries" stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder definitely have a very busy work schedule that even a weekend break sounds impossible to the couple. Nina Dobrev had to go to work on a Sunday for a "WhoSay" photo shoot while Ian Somerhalder showed up at a convention in Chicago with an injured finger.

The brunette actress looked stunning with her high-volume hairstyle and smoky eye makeup. Nina even shared to her fans a photograph of herself preparing for the photo shoot using her "WhoSay" account.

"At photo shoot getting glam with @vtanis - working on the weekend - but we're making it a Sunday Funday ! <3 my Vasilios!" the actress wrote on the April 7 WhoSay photo with makeup artist Vasilios Tanis.

As for the injured Ian Somerhalder, the heartthrob actor appeared to have fun with "Vampire Diaries" co-star Paul Wesley at the Chicago Convention held this weekend. The cause of the injury is unknown but it resulted to Ian Somerhalder putting on a finger splint.

There is a possibility that Ian Somerhalder injured himself while filming on the "Vampire Diaries" set. This is not the first time that a cast member got hurt on the set because Nina Dobrev suffered a concussion in September 2011.

The actress even shared the incident on her Twitter account with a message that reads: "Still feelin side effects from the Concussion I got on set. Ouchie. Good thing purple is a good color on me otherwise..."

The Twitter account @TeamTSD shared an image showing the actor's poor right hand. Despite the uncomfortable finger splint on his right hand, Ian Somerhalder still managed to sign autographs for the fans and continue posting activities on his Twitter account to keep his thousands of followers informed.
