Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) will be doing some damage control in her relationship with Josh’s friend Greg Serrano (Santino Fontana) in “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 5 titled “Josh and I Are Good People!” Rebecca’s choices in the previous episode has hurt Greg’s feelings so she will try her best in proving that she is not really a horrible person.

The synopsis of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 5 on TVGuide reveals that Greg will accuse Rebecca of being a terrible person in front of her ex-boyfriend Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III). Even though Greg likes Rebecca, he may have only said she is a terrible person because he is still hurt from what she did during their date in “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 4.

Rebecca agreed to go out on a date with Greg at a taco festival with the connection between the two slowly transforming from awkward to comfortable as they get to know each other. However, things did not end well on Rebecca and Greg’s date because she left him behind at the festival to hook up with the festival’s vegan guacamole vendor.

With Josh witnessing Greg’s accusation, Rebecca will be taking drastic measures in “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 5 to prove that she is a good person. One of those drastic measures is helping Darryl Whitefeather (Pete Gardner) with his messy divorce.

In the new episode’s promo video, Rebecca seems affected with Greg’s accusation because she starts to wonder if she really is a terrible person. Elsewhere in the episode, Rebecca’s best friend Paula Proctor (Donna Lynn Champlin) will take over the office as the “Boss for the Day.”

Rebecca will be determined to prove Greg’s accusation wrong because she wants to impress her former flame Josh with the hopes of rekindling their romantic relationship. After all, Rebecca moved to West Covina, California to be closer to Josh after bumping into him in New York City.

The second episode of CW’s new musical comedy-drama series has revealed that Josh only had a fling with Rebecca during their summer camp in 2005 because he and his girlfriend Valencia (Gabrielle Ruiz) were on a break.
