Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) will be spending her first holiday season in West Covina in the next episode of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” However, the synopsis and promo video of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 8 titled “My Mom, Greg’s Mom and Josh’s Sweet Dance Moves!” tease that the arrival of Rebecca’s mom will spoil the Christmas spirit.

The synopsis of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 8 on TVGuide reveals that Rebecca’s mom visits her in West Covina, California for the holidays. Rebecca wants to please her mom about the new life and career that she chose in West Covina after giving up her prestigious job in New York City to pursuit ex-boyfriend Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III).

To impress her mom, Rebecca will be embellishing a couple of facts about her life. “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” character Paula Proctor (Donna Lynne Champlin) will obviously help her friend and co-worker Rebecca in her plan to please her mom during her holiday visit.

The CW Television Network’s promo video for “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 8 teases that Paula will pretend to be British while meeting Rebecca’s mom. However, the new episode’s synopsis further teased that Rebecca’s plan will all come crashing down during a local holiday event.

In the previous episode, it was Rebecca’s world that went crashing down because Josh and his girlfriend Valencia (Gabrielle Ruiz) moved in together. Josh also encountered some relationship issue with Valencia in “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” Season 7, episode 7.

Josh and his friends spent the entire night assembling the table furniture he picked and bought for Valencia as a gift. However, Valencia told Josh that she does not want the table he picked because it does not match the other furniture in their new home.

Meanwhile, the viewers will also meet the mother of another “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” character. The new episode’s synopsis has revealed that Greg Serrano (Santino Fontana) will be spending the Christmas Eve with his mother.

During Greg’s bonding time with his mom, he will realise that he might actually be the problem relative in the Serrano family. “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” returns with the winter finale episode titled “My Mom, Greg’s Mom and Josh’s Sweet Dance Moves!” on Monday night, Nov. 30, at 8/7c on the CW Network.
