Police confirmed the death of Justin Tennison of Discovery Channel’s hit show, “Deadliest Catch”. Tennison, who worked as crew member of Time Bandit, - - one of the sea-fishing vessels used by Discovery’s popular show - - was found unconscious at his motel room on Homer Alaska.

The authorities’ preliminary investigation shows that Tennison must have hosted a party before his death. According to Rachel D’Oro of the Associated Press, two rooms were named after him at the Homer motel.

Homer police Lt. Randy Rosencrans also said in an interview that investigators found beer, hard liquor and a small amount of marijuana at his motel room.

Tennison’s death was first reported by TMZ.com. No cause of death has been released by the authorities but Rosencrans maintained that foul play is highly unlikely. The result of the autopsy conducted by the state medical examiner’s office is expected to come out late Wednesday.
