As things were getting exciting for Real Madrid in the final match of the Guinness International Champions Cup versus Chelsea, a male fan of Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo turns up into the second half of the game and gets seriously intimate with the star player.

The fan, who was wearing a white Ronaldo shirt, tightly locked the forward-player in an embrace as the cameras caught wind of what was going on at the far corner of the field.

The Real Madrid player felt obliged to return the gesture and somewhat awkwardly embraces him back as he listens to what his fan had to say. After the whisperings and tight embraces that seemed to last for ages, Ronaldo strategically put his arm around the fan and began to escort him back before the police officer took over. The fan looked grateful as he seemingly bowed to his hero.

Football fans in the stadium were seen smiling and applauded him as the game started to resume.

But the fans weren't the only ones who were impressed at how Ronaldo handled the unexpected - if not frightening - situation:

In other news, Ronaldo Cristiano - in an awesome display of skill - led Real Madrid to victory over Chelsea. He scored 2 out of the 3 goals - possibly making his former coach Jose Mourinho, present coach of Chelsea, to eat his words and regret his earlier remark.
