It seems like there is really no stopping the Portuguese footballer. On Sept 30, he also announced on that a revolutionary football competition is getting underway. It is called "The Game by Ronaldo." A lot of fans became curious about the game and started asking Ronaldo if it was a computer game or an online multiplayer game.
As described on its Web site, "The Game by Ronaldo" is all about real players, real team, and real matches. Ronaldo fans, surely, can hardly wait until it is officially released by the end of October, worldwide.
Meanwhile, the football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, extends his support for a soccer fan that was arrested for getting so close and hugging him during a match back in August between Real Madrid and Chelsea.
Apparently, Ronald Gjoka, a Canadian student, got in the way of 70,000 people who gathered around to watch the game. Gjoka was sitting near the sidelines wearing a Ronaldo jersey and entered the pitch at the Sun Life Stadium. Gjoka sprinted on the field and hugged Ronaldo.
Immediately, the security officials came and escorted Gjoka out of the field. Gjoka was reported to be very cooperative and willing when he was asked to get away from his football icon.
According to Miami Herald, Ronaldo sent a letter addressed to the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office. "My name is Cristiano Ronaldo and I play for Real Madrid," Ronaldo said in the hand-signed letter. "I was playing at the Sun Life Stadium last month when a fan entered the field," the letter reads. "We hugged and spoke for a while, until a security came to escort him out of the field, he was not violent or aggressive in any way," Ronaldo wrote.
Gjoka could be deported if the misdemeanor charges are not dropped.
"I, respectfully, request that your office re-evaluate the decision and dismiss the charges that Gjoka is facing," Ronaldo added.
Following the said incident, Gjoka spent the night in jail. Gjoka's attorney contacted Cristiano Ronaldo and his lawyer seeking support to help alleviate, if possible, the charges that Gjoka is facing.
