Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is definitely the boss. He just signed himself a contract extension with Spanish giants Real Madrid on Sunday. The football club sure knows how to convince the 28-year-old striker to stay put. It was a $206 million contract deal, Forbes reported.

Ronaldo put all the rumours of him leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United. He intends to stay with Real and might probably be with the club until he retreats from football.

"I was with Man U for six years and to be honest, they gave me many things that I will surely never forget but it is now in the past," said Ronaldo.

He signed the contract with his manager, Jorge Mendes, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and other members of the board of directors at the Santiago Bernabeu's Board Room.

Ronaldo is, unquestionably, back on top. For those who don't know, he was overthrown by his teammate Gareth Bale as the highest paid football player just a couple of weeks ago, but now, he has regained the throne and it didn't take him that long.

Ronaldo sure knows how to celebrate his contract extension with Real. They had beaten the Turkish football club Galatasaray 6-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday at the Turk Telecom Arena.

"It couldn't have been better for us. Being able to score six goals is really good and will surely give us a lot of assurance," Ronaldo told the reporters.

Galatasaray hammered the Spanish giants over the last season's quarterfinals. It was the club's first visit to Istanbul.

Ronaldo's hat-trick for Real has definitely lightened plenty of goals in the opening night. The Spanish football club crossed its way to victory during the second half, with three goals coming from Ronaldo. His third goal was an astounding sleek dribble in stoppage time.

Real Madrid has been eyeing on its 10th European crown. With a great line-up of players, surely, it will not be long before they achieve it.
