Receiving a bouquet of fresh and radiant roses can certainly put a smile on anyone's face and definitely make even a simple birthday to a memorable one. Russian Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk, who is in a relationship with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, recently celebrated her 29th birthday and she received an eye-catching bouquet of red roses on her special day.

Irina shared a picture of the special floral gift that she received on Instagram. However, she didn't not reveal who sent her the flowers. People could only speculate that one of those bouquets must have come from Cristiano, whom she has been dating since 2010.

Then in another Instagram post, trails of rose petals, alongside a bottle of champagne and a birthday present, were strewn across a white bed. Irina still didn't reveal in the photo's caption who is behind such romantic gesture.

Irina and Cristiano are rarely seen in public together. They are both busy with their respective careers. Irina spends most of her time in New York City, while Cristiano is often in Spain due to the demands of his football career.

However, the pair always make sure to be with each other whenever their schedules permit them to do so. She was walked the red carpet with him at the 2014 Liga de Futbol Professional Awards in October. Irina was there to show support for Cristiano when he accepted his awards. Over the holiday season, the good-looking couple had to chance to be with each other, along with Cristiano's family and son Cristianinho.

In celebration of Irina's 29th birthday, Sports Illustrated has rounded up some of the best shots that the Russian supermodel did for their swimsuit issues. Irina, who made her debut in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2007, has been a regular in every annual issue of the said magazine. She has attended numerous Sports Illustrated photo shoots done in different parts of the globe such as Chile, Madagascar, Naples, St. Petersburg, and Grenada. In 2011, Irina made history when she became the first Russian model to be featured in the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
