Cydia Tweak: Gridlock Goes 2.0, Adds iOS 7 And iPhone 5s Support
Gridlock, a widely popular Home screen "liberator," is available to download for iPhone 5S and other iOS 7 powered iDevices now. With its 2.0 label, this jailbreak tweak can now be found in the Cydia Store as free update for previous Gridlock users or may cost $ 4.99 for others.
Gridlock was developed by known iOS hackers @p0sixninja and @chpwn. Originally, it was released to the public in 2010 when it first arrived to the Cydia Store.
As previously explained, the jailbreak tweak lets users put its iOS icons anywhere on the Home screen. Gridlock liberated jailbreakers of the iOS app grid, making it possible to place all their apps in one side of the iPhone screen or custom pattern. Gridlock is easy to use and gets regular improving updates since this jailbreak tweak was released 3 years ago.
Gridlock's release notes said from p0sixninja and chpwn comes a powerful tweak named Gridlock that lets you arrange your iOS icons however you like through just drag and drop.
For iPhone 5S and other iOS 7 users, Gridlock 2.0 brings complete compatibility for the new mobile operating system and Apple's ARM 64 iDevices. It also does this while it maintains compatibility with older versions of the iOS and as such, Gridlock is not only compatible with iOS 7 but also with iOS 6, iOS 5, iOS 4 and iOS 3.
If you have jailbroken your iOS 7 device, you may also be interested in the Touchy, which lets iPhone 5S users to make iOS app shortcuts for individual fingerprints and WinterBoard for iOS 7. Once the Touchy is installed on the jailbroken iPhone 5S, a new pane will be added to the built-in Settings app and allows users to assign iOS apps to individual fingerprints.
Meanwhile, WinterBoard has countless themes available for its users. Other recent additions to the Cydia Store allow jailbreakers to enhance the Touch ID, improve the Control Center and even add a live Weather app icon to the device.
