Dakota Johnson has banned her mother Melanie Griffith from watching her movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" because of the erotic content in it. Dakota is playing the female lead character Anastasia Steele in the movie who gets smitten by a kinky yet handsome billionaire Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dornan.

"No I will not be seeing it. Well, because my daughter doesn't want me to," Griffith told TMZ.com as she was coming out of a West Hollywood restaurant Madeo. "And I don't think it would be appropriate," added the 57-year-old who is famous for playing the controversial character of a porn star in a popular 80s movie "Body Double."

Another reason why Dakota does not want her actress mother to see her movie is because she fears "it will be a flop" film that will badly affect her career, writes Daily Mail. The 25-year-old actress arrived at the conclusion after she reportedly read some critics' reviews on the recent trailer of the movie. The reviews were not that great, according to the website.

Dakota now feels that she has risked her movie career after signing up for a sadism and masochism movie. In the movie, Christian's character inflicts pain to Anastasia and derives pleasure out of it during lovemaking. Johnson is of the opinion that people are going to make fun of her after the movie is released, says the website quoting an unnamed source.

The team of "Fifty Shades of Grey" unveiled a racy new trailer of the movie last month where the two characters not only indulge in a passionate kiss inside the elevator but go a step ahead. Jamie Dornan's character is seen taking Dakota's character to the "red room of pain" where her hands are tied and eyes blindfolded. Read more here.

The movie will show the its main character Christian Grey indulging in bondage and dominance lovemaking with various females until he meets a virgin Anastasia Steele. He tries his best to make Anastasia do the same by asking her to sign a written contract and even convincing her that he would not hurt her in the process. The film will be based on Christian's journey from a polygamist man who enjoys kinky love with females to a much married man with two kids.
