UFC President Dana White said the rematch between former champ Anderson Silva and reigning middleweight titlist Chris Weidman will be the biggest in Mixed Martial Arts history.

In a post-fight interview with UFC on FUEL TV analyst Ariel Helwan, White said there's no more attractive fight out there than the second bout between Silva and Weidman.

White believes Silva lost the fight because he was clowning around and underestimated Weidman, who remained composed throughout the bout.

The UFC President is certain Silva's silly theatrics that led to his first loss in 17 UFC fight won't affect his legacy as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. However, he believes Silva needed a rematch for him to win back several fans who were turned off by his performance at UFC 162.

White said the second chapter of the rivalry between Silva and Weidman will break the record set by UFC 100, which racked up 1.6 million pay-per-view buys. UFC 100 featured two of the biggest draws in MMA history with former heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar and welterweight titlist George St-Pierre fighting in the main cards of the event.

Silva, on the other hand, got the biggest PVP results in his UFC career when he fought Chael Sonnen for the second time at UFC 148.
