The judges of the Channel Seven dancing show have booted Lara Bingle off, but a more worrying factor is their huge audience drop from 1.551 to 1.151 million viewers last Sunday.

The normally popular show Dancing With the Stars has experienced a major fall out in terms of viewership, with only 1.151 viewers tuning in to see the show. The show fell from its fourth position to the fifth most watched primetime show this week, exchanging slots with Channel Nine News. On a surprise, Channel Seven news topped the list with 1,714 Australians tuning in to stay updated on current events and happenings around the country. Former number 1 slot holder British period drama Downtown Abbey dropped to second place, with 1.685 viewers this week. The only show retaining its steady number of viewers is the cooking show MasterChef Australia, with a repeat appearance on the number 3 position.

While less Aussies decided to watch Sunday's DWTS show, model and television presenter Lara Bingle was the next to get booted off, along with partner Carmello Pizzinga. Todd McKenney, one of the show's judges said to the model "you're dull; you don't have the X factor" on last Sunday's show. Another judge Helen Richey claims "We don't know who the bloody hell Lara is", while another one referred to the model as "cousin it" from the Addams Family because of the huge amounts of hair always covering Bingle's face.

Aside from being currently sacked from the show, Bingle has also been involved with a controversy involving fellow DWTS contestant Haley Bracken for missing a rehearsal date. "I probably did let them down a little but sometimes you can't help when things happen" says Bingle in a report posted at News.NineMSN.com. Show judge Richey provides truth to the controversy, saying "It's taken a while for all of us to settle down together" in an interview for the Seven Morning Show.
