Hollywood Life picked up the news about the couple's break up from Payson Lewis' recent sad post on Instagram posted on Oct. 16, 2014. The actor uploaded a photo of his along with Janel Parrish. It seems the picture is from their happy times together. He also posted a sad message along with the picture wherein he expressed his gratitude to the actress for coming in his life and spending one and a half year with him.

The caption read: "All good things must come to an end. Thank you for the happiest year and a half of my life. I will always love you @janelparrish and I wish you nothing but the best. Forever #teamjanel"

The publication speculates that whether the reason of their breakup is Janel's dancing partner Val.

According to abovementioned celebrity news and fashion publication, only seven hours after Payson Lewis' announcement of the split, Janel Parrish posted a picture in which the actress appears to be "cozying up to dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy during a dinner date." The photo shows that the duo was accompanied by "Dancing with the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis. The caption of the photo suggests how happy Janel Parrish is to be there.

The duo sparked the romance rumours when they were spotted getting a little cosy in one of the behind-the-camera moments, according to Bustle.

"I'm not happy because you're not happy," Chmerkovskiy said backstage to Janel Parrish who seemed upset with the scores. Later, Janel planted a kiss on Val's cheek and told him "I love you."
